This isn't a story of Swift's latest love song, but a sweet "thank you" and apology to a businesswoman.
Ripleigh Maring, of Ripleigh's Creamery in McSherrystown, PA and Emmitsburg, MD, is a Swiftie who is a lover of the Billboard hits (she's also a savvy saleswoman) so she made "The Era Collection" of ice cream flavors to sell at her shop ahead of Swift's "Eras Tour" stop in Philadelphia.
The collection includes Lavender Haze, Karma, and Bad Blood (plus, there are Enchanted and Bejeweled milkshakes) — all inspired by Taylor Swift songs— then the teen took to social media to invite the star to her PA shop.
Swift reacted by working with On Angel's Wings Florist McSherrystown to send Maring four dozen roses.
And she sent a note reading as follows:
Ripleigh, I am so sorry I couldn't make it out to your ice cream shop. I'm sure Karma is amazing. You are so creative! Keep working hard to pursue your dreams. Love, Taylor.
Maring's response continued in a separate post reading:
"Thank you for all the kind words. We were confirmed it was sent from Taylor’s team. It has been an amazing evening for a young entrepreneur. This would of not been possible without the Swifties that rallied around this young girl and lifted her up w constant tagging Ripleigh never intended or strived for this," the shop said on Facebook. "She just wanted to make a fun ice cream collection. She is beyond grateful ❤️"
Swift will be performing in Philly for three nights starting Friday, May 12 at 6:30 p.m.
"The Eras Collection" Ice Cream is available at both the PA and MD locations of Ripleigh's Creamery through Sunday, May 14.
